REFRACTIVE SURGERY
Majority of refractive errors such as MYOPIA ( near sightedness) , HYPERMETROPIA ( far sightedness) , ASTIGMATISM can be corrected by LASIK. It is usually performed after 18 years of age after the patients refractive error is stabilized. In rare cases who cannot undergo LASIK , other options such as PRK (Photorefractive keratectomy ) , ICL ( implantable contact lens ) can be done. Before performing a LASIK , we perform a battery of tests to make sure that the patient attains the best possible vision without any complications.
