Cornea is the transparent layer of the eye over the iris. Corneal infections , degeneration , ectasias , dystrophies , DRY EYE are evaluated & managed medically or surgically as & when required. Keratoconus and other ectasia are evaluated by keratometry & topography Contact lens for refractive errors, cosmetic contact lenses , RGP lenses for keratoconus are also prescribed . Vernal keratoconjunctivitis or VKC is a kind of allergic eye disease which affects children and increases till teenage. It requires a long term meticulous medical management under supervision of an ophthalmologist .
